Google announced some new enhancements to Display Planner, which forecast how many clicks and impressions are available in your bid and budget range, based on current auction data.
Google made the announcement in a brief Google+ post, in which it said, “Over the past few years, marketers worldwide have used Display Planner to easily check available inventory for their Display campaigns.”
“This will help you plan campaigns better by providing a clearer picture of the performance you can expect,” it says of the enhancements, showing this example:
“If you plan to bid $1.00 you can expect approximately 3.69K clicks,” it says. “We’ll also forecast how much of your budget can be spent given your current selections. Try using Display Planner now to inform bids and budgets for your holiday marketing campaigns.”
This week, Google also announced Smart Goals for Google Analytics to help advertisers who don’t measure conversions.
